Professional Development

My professional development focuses on creating equitable, human-centered learning environments through the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). This work centers on three interconnected pedagogical pillars—Trauma-Informed Practice, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and Grading for Growth—to shift classroom culture to iterative mastery and authentic engagement. As the educational landscape evolves, I am actively exploring how these principles must adapt to emerging trends in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and strengthen the vital link between the curriculum and Community Engagement based learning.
